When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one there to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
I know you haven’t made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I’ve known it from the moment that we met
No doubt in my mind where you belong
I’d go hungry, I’d go black and blue
I’d go crawling down the avenue
There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do
To make you feel my love
The storms are raging on the rollin’ sea
And on the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
You ain’t seen nothing like me yet
I could make you happy, make your dreams come true
Nothing that I wouldn’t do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
To make you feel my love
And the whole world is on your case
I could offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one there to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
I know you haven’t made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong

Make You Feel My Love
Sean Curnyn put it well in one of his blogs.
"The truth is that it is a very soppy and sentimental song, if you take it as being a boy/girl love song. In fact, it is totally out of character for Bob Dylan to write such a song, in which he pledges to “hold you for a million years,” “make your dreams come true,” “go crawling down the avenue” and “go to the ends of the earth for you.” Dylan’s always been smarter than that, and more knowing of the limits of human nature. And that’s exactly why many of his most appreciative fans have suggested that this song was not inspired by thoughts of that kind of romantic human love, but rather by contemplation of God’s love for human beings. Many Christians, specifically, find that the song resonates deeply with their faith in Jesus, and I think that goes for some who are not particularly fans of Bob Dylan as well."

THE RECORD
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is well pleased to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12:32
For this is the way God loved the world; He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. (For rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person perhaps someone might possibly dare to die.) But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God's wrath. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life? Not only this, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this reconciliation.
Romans 5:6-11
In all these things we have complete victory through him who loves us! For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39
In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
God is love, and the one who resides in love resides in God, and God reside in him.
We love because he loved us first.
